Most striking aren’t the mind boggling figures – annual global IP traffic forecasts of 966 Exabytes; equivalent to 672 million DVDs passing hands every day – but rather what the biggest component constituting this traffic is: video.

Video, and in particular High Definition (HD) video, is our digital diet of choice. And this content, watched on an ever growing number of wireless devices, is the smorgasbord driving our insatiable appetite.
